The company Exolum has created a portable hydrogen station, like a special gas station for cars that run on «UN 1049 HYDROGEN, COMPRESSED 2.1» instead of gasoline or diesel. This station can be easily moved from one place to another because it’s built inside a container. It can also fill cars’ tanks at different pressures depending on what they need (350 or 700 bar, which are pressure measurements).
This hydrogen station is not only practical because it can be transported wherever it’s needed but also safe. It has a system that ensures the hydrogen it supplies is of high quality. Exolum handles everything: delivering the hydrogen, storing it, and setting up all the necessary infrastructure. They also train the people who will operate these stations and take care of the legal permits.
The project received financial support from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility as part of a plan to promote cleaner and more environmentally friendly transportation. With this hydrogen station, Exolum aims to prove that hydrogen is a real alternative to reduce pollution in the transportation of both goods and passengers.
