SICUR’08, THE BIG MEETING
As every year, the International Security Exhibition stands as the largest gathering point for security professionals. The last edition of SICUR brought together 585 direct exhibitors and occupied over 34,000 square meters of net exhibition space, experiencing an almost 18% growth. All represented sectors saw significant growth, with a 20% increase in the fire sector and over 7% growth in the security sector.
The Occupational Safety sector, which has been growing significantly in recent editions of the fair – 52% in 2004 and 23% in 2006 – and gathered 239 direct exhibitors in 2006, will continue to grow in 2008 as it will be located in pavilions 2, 4, and 6, with a total area 22% larger than that occupied in 2004. For all these reasons, SICUR is launching a new brand in this edition, SICUR PROLABOR.
