Etrasa completes the content of the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) courses with the new manual for travelers. It contains all the necessary content required by Royal Decree 1032/2007 of July 20, which regulates access to the profession of drivers of passenger and freight transport, as well as their ongoing training. This means that to carry out their activity, these transport professionals must pass the CPC, for which Etrasa has already launched a comprehensive manual of common subjects, the content of which is now complemented by a specific manual for travelers.
The manual’s content is structured into four broad sections: Economic environment of passenger transport, specific regulations in this area, tachograph, and driver’s functions and interaction with passengers. It consists of 178 pages where its content is intertwined with numerous images, graphics, and diagrams that make this manual very didactic, visual, and above all a useful material for the training of these drivers. Efforts have been made to make it very understandable and accessible to all students accessing the course. Training centers now have all the necessary material to conduct courses for travelers that will start shortly. This training comes into effect on September 11 for holders of D1, D1+E, D, and D+E permits, and on September 11, 2009 for those holding C1, C1+E, C, and C+E permits.
