Call for Exams for Safety Advisers in the Transport of Dangerous Goods in the Community of Madrid

The Regional Ministry of Housing, Transport, and Infrastructure, through the Directorate-General for Transport and Mobility, has published the Resolution of January 21, 2025, announcing the professional qualification exams for safety advisers in the transport of dangerous goods by road. These exams will be held in the Community of Madrid throughout 2025.

Registration Deadlines

Registrations for these exams will be divided into two sessions:

  • First Session: From February 26 to March 15, 2025.
  • Second Session: From August 1 to August 22, 2025.

To complete the registration, it is necessary to pay the corresponding fee and submit the application using the standardized form.

Target Audience and Requirements

These exams are intended for individuals who will be involved in loading, unloading, or transporting dangerous goods by road, in accordance with current regulations.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Submit the official application.
  • Pay the corresponding fee.
  • In the case of certificate renewal, the application must be submitted within the year prior to its expiration.

Required Documentation

Along with the application, the following must be provided:

  • Proof of payment of the fee.
  • National Identity Document (DNI) (if electronic consultation by the Community of Madrid is not authorized).

The application process can be completed electronically or in person. For electronic submission, it is necessary to have an electronic signature system recognized by the Community of Madrid.

Process Development

On March 4, 2025, the composition of the tribunal responsible for evaluating candidates will be made public. Once the registration period has ended, a provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates will be published, opening a period of 10 working days to correct errors or submit appeals.

After this period, the Directorate-General for Transport and Mobility will approve and publish the final lists.

  • Royal Decree 97/2014, of February 14, on the operations of transporting dangerous goods by road.
  • Order FOM/605/2004, of February 27, concerning the qualification of safety advisers.
