Transport of dangerous goods in packages

Rule 4. Documents.

  1. The text of the rule is replaced by the following:

1. Information regarding the transport of dangerous goods in packages and the stowage certificate of the container/vehicle shall conform to the relevant provisions of the IMDG Code and shall be provided to the person or organization designated by the port State authority.

  1. Every ship carrying dangerous goods in packages shall have a special list, a manifest, or a stowage plan indicating the dangerous goods loaded and their location on board, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the IMDG Code. Before departure, a copy of one of these documents shall be provided to the person or organization designated by the port State authority.
