Multilateral Agreement M269

Under the application of section 1.5.1 of the ADR, concerning the marking of UN numbers on bottles for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

  1. This agreement refers to the marking of refillable bottles for the transport of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) of UN numbers 1011, 1075, 1965, 1969, or 1978.
  2. By derogation from 1.6.1.25, the requirements of 5.2.1.1, regarding the minimum size of the digits of the UN number, shall be complied with no later than at the time of the next periodic inspection.
  3. This agreement shall be valid until June 30, 2018, for transport in those territories of contractual parties to the ADR that have signed this agreement. If revoked before that date by any of the signatories, it shall be valid only for the transport of goods in those territories of contractual parties to the ADR that have not revoked it.

The Agreement has been signed to date by Italy and France.
